A friend brought to my attention an ad in the back of Kitchen & Bath Design News and K+BB Business magazines for an online design service with unbelievable prices... $25/design and the first 5 free! They claim to have 28 people on their staff and 19 locations. What are they paying them a peso an hour? I have to wonder how much of it is true as it would be difficult to verify... they are in El Salvadore and Costa Rica. They don't give you any clue about how much they actually cost. What do you get? Plans only... elevations? They do say that counter top plans are separate from cabinet plans, but that's about it. I would be worried about accountability with these guys as they emphasize that the "plans are only to sell the job". I think they're much more than that. They guarantee their turn-around in 48 hours without specifiying what size job that applies to or what they need to start a job. I also doubt they "have all the 20/20 manufacturer's catalogs".... unless they are a registered dealer for all the manufacturers that have catalogs in 20/20.

Buyer beware! You'll get what you pay for. Like the old adage says... if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
